Oskar Hernández is an Information professional and a PhD Candidate in Social Studies of Science and Technology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He holds a Master’s degree in Information and Knowledge Society from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), and previous Bachelor’s degrees in Information Science and Social Work. Ot Puy I Baqué is in his last year student of Master’s degree in Sustainability Science and Technology with Polythecnic University of Catalunya and the Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet – NTNU, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Smart and Sustainable Cities Management. I am a last year student of the Smart and Sustainable Cities Management degree at the UAB – Escola d’Enginyeria. My main topic of interest is Urban Innovation as a driver to urban planning and society management, keeping environmental and social sustainability as a must.
My background as a volunteer and social worker, showed me that working hand in hand with a united society is the main way to succesfully drive social, urban and ecological innovation. True innovation happens when it reaches the consciences of citizens and defends causes that deserve to be fought for, together.

Laura Vetter holds a degree in Smart and Sustainable Cities Management from the UAB Barcelona. She participated in the Citizen Science pilot about Waste management in Mollet del Vallès and contributed to a paper about the Impact of Citizen Science as a Tool to transform public policies. Furthermore, she has worked with ScienceforChange, a SME dedicated to Participation Processes, where she has been working on the European Project TRANSFORM.
